New blog ‚open-biblio­­me­­trics‘ and initi­al OPENBIB data release
Das KB und die OPENBIB-Projekt­grup­pe freuen sich, einen ersten Release ausge­wähl­ter und kuratier­ter OpenAl­ex-Daten als Teil der Arbeit zur Förde­rung der Nutzung offener biblio­me­tri­scher Daten und als Beitrag zur sich entwi­ckeln­den offenen biblio­me­tri­schen Landschaft bekannt zu geben.

Wir haben auch damit begon­nen, komplet­te Daten­schnapp­schüs­se von OpenAl­ex inner­halb dersel­ben Forschungs­in­fra­struk­tur für biblio­me­tri­sche Daten wie Scopus und Web of Science laufend zur Verfü­gung zu stellen, und haben die Eignung offener biblio­me­tri­scher Daten unter­sucht (siehe hier, hier und hier).

Regis­tra­te for the european summer school for scien­to­me­trics
The esss provi­des training and state-of the art insight into scien­to­me­trics with the corre­spon­ding methods, proce­du­res, indica­tors as well as the available databa­se products for scien­to­me­tric analy­ses. The program combi­nes theore­ti­cal knowledge and its practi­cal appli­ca­ti­on in various contexts ranging from research to the provi­si­on of scien­ti­fic policy advice to research evaluation.
The esss trains esear­chers, especi­al­ly PhD candi­da­tes and early-career resear­chers, research managers, libra­ri­ans and infor­ma­ti­on scien­tists with a profes­sio­nal interest in science and techno­lo­gy indica­tors and their application.

The summer school takes place from 8th to 12th Septem­ber in Granada.

Regis­tra­ti­on will open Tuesday, 1st of April 2025 at 9:00 CET. There is NO appli­ca­ti­on proce­du­re and that the limit­ed seats will be sold on a „first come, first serve“ basis.
